Today`s protest will be at the main entrance of Labcorp. We stand up for the animals tortured in the labs at Labcorp and will continue to do so until Labcorp change to using only human based models.

Animals in laboratories are in 24/7 lockdown. We can all imagine that cant we? Weve been there, but we were still able to decide to go out if we wanted to. They can`t.

Please stand with us in protest of the archaic excuse that we need to test on animals to find cures for humans. Who knows how long we will have our freedom of speech and the ability to protest? 95% of drugs tested on animals fail in humans. It can take between 12-15 years to develop a new pharmaceutical drug, only to find out that it is fatal to humans. Can your loved one wait that long, or even longer, for treatment?

Humans need human based research (HBR). If the 70+ year old regulations were updated HBR would speed up the development of effective drugs and the discovery of cures for debilitating conditions and life threatening diseases.

Meet at the staff entrance gates, which are at the top of the road after turning left/right at the Pine Marten pub on Otley Road. (Beckwith Knowle bus stop is part way down the road to the gates).
