This is the dark secret behind Morrisons' "welfare assured" chicken. Over 300 companies have made the pledge to stop selling these poor animals across the UK & Europe. But Morrisons refuses to turn their back on this cruel practice. Alongside events all across the UK, we're holding a demonstration outside the Morrisons store in Hull with placards and leaflets. We'll be educating customers and informing them about how they can help. We invite you to join us for a day of action for animals with like minded advocates. Event details:

• This event is open to anyone who wants to stand up for animals regardless of diet, lifestyle or experience.
• We will be meeting at 11:30am at the Morrisons store in Hull. The demo will finish around 1pm.
• At the protest you will be asked to either hold a poster, or speak to members of the public about how chickens really live and distribute information: you choose whichever type of involvement you feel most comfortable with.
